This Privacy Policy explains how Segura Contracting (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, request a quote, or use our customer/crew portal. We serve Carlstadt, NJ and the surrounding area for lawn care, landscaping, hardscaping, and home contracting.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to quote and do your work:

• Information you give us. When you request a quote we collect your name, service address, ZIP code, and (if you provide them) email, phone number, and any details you send. If you create a portal account, our authentication provider collects your name, email, and password — or, if you choose it, your Google sign-in.
• Job and account information. Details about the work you request, your schedule and visit history, notes, requests, complaints, and photos of the work performed at your property.
• Payment information. When online payments are enabled, they are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not collect or store full card numbers on our systems.
• Information collected automatically. Basic technical data (such as your browser type and approximate location from your IP) and essential cookies used to keep you signed in to the portal. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use your information

• To prepare estimates and provide, schedule, and track your services.
• To communicate with you about quotes, appointments, and your account.
• To manage your portal account and show you your jobs, photos, and invoices.
• To process payments and keep billing records (via Stripe, when enabled).
• To improve our services and for security, legal, and accounting purposes.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, under agreements to protect it:

• Clerk — secure account sign-in and authentication.
• Supabase — database and file storage (your job records and photos).
• Cloudflare — website hosting, delivery, and security.
• Stripe — payment processing and invoicing (when enabled).

We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.

Photos of your work

We take photos of completed work for your records and quality control. Unless you tell us otherwise, we may also use photos of finished projects (without your personal details) to showcase our work. To opt out or ask us to remove a photo, contact us at the address below.

Data security & retention

Your information is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to what’s needed to serve you. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data. We keep it for as long as needed to provide your services and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and you can unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time. Contact us and we’ll help.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of our site or portal means you accept the updated policy.
